Dive, strafe and survive a vertical air-combat shooter that jumps a generation of flight every stage.

Talon Tide is a vertical air-combat shooter rendered in WebGL2. Each stage advances the era — piston fighters, early jets, swing-wing interceptors, cranked deltas, faceted stealth, hypersonic waveriders, lift-halo swarm craft — and an era changes not just how the aircraft look but how they fly. You and the hostiles advance together, so a later run is faster and sharper without ever becoming unfair.

Weapons tier up through Twin, Wide, Shotgun and piercing Laser, with an independent power level on top, plus escorts, speed and extra barrel rolls. Supply pods release only when a marked formation dies with none of it escaping, and a crash costs the whole loadout and returns you to the base gun. Three barrel rolls per plane carry you through anything.

The Flight Deck lets you set your own loadout, enemy density, enemy fire and scroll speed, or restore the defaults and fly the faithful run. Portrait is the natural orientation and landscape is fully supported. Liveries carry no national identity of any kind.

Built for in-flight entertainment: one self-contained file, no network of any kind, eleven languages, and full gamepad support alongside touch.

1. Fly your fighter up the island chain. Enemy planes sweep in from ahead — shoot them down before they reach you.
2. Tap Roll for a barrel roll: you are untouchable through it, but you only carry three.
3. Wipe out a whole marked (violet) formation and it drops a supply pod. Grab it before it drifts past.
4. Camera: tap the camera button, press C or V, or View on a gamepad, to switch between Overhead, Close behind and High behind.
5. Weapon — cycles Twin → Wide → Shotgun → Laser.
6. Side fighters — up to two escorts fire alongside you.
7. 1UP — an extra plane. Bonus pods are worth straight points.
