The Indian classic Moksha Patam in 3D: race animal rivals up ladders and down snakes with pure-luck dice, or pick your dice and play power cards in choice mode, with a ladder through eight Indian cities, a daily puzzle and 17 languages.
Snakes & Ladders (साँप सीढ़ी) began in India as Moksha Patam, a teaching game: ladders are virtues that lift you up, snakes are vices that pull you back. Roll the dice, hop your animal pawn square by square, climb every ladder you land on and slide down every snake, and be first to the last square.
Play Classic dice for pure family luck, or Choice cards for a game with decisions: roll two dice and pick which one to move, and spend four single-use power cards (Re-roll, Shield, Sum and Nudge) that gold-star squares refill. Four levels of animal opponents play the choice mode from careless to a Master that works out the odds of the race; in classic mode no level can matter, and the game says so.
Eight boards (a kids board, the classic layout, the Moksha Patam board with virtues and vices, and five campaign boards up to a 12 by 12 desert fort), switches for exact finish and for six-rolls-again, a ladder of eight Indian cities from Mumbai to Jodhpur with an animal rival in each, a daily puzzle solved by exhaustive search, and replay of any game from its seeded dice. The dice are hand-made 3D cubes you tap or shake to roll, the snakes sway and the ladders are lashed bamboo.
An eight-lesson tutorial teaches everything with real taps. The default view always shows the whole board, with free zoom, pan and orbit, and the game fits a portrait phone. Seventeen languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali and Marathi, controller, keyboard and touch support, and it all runs offline in one file.
Cách chơi
- Squares are numbered from 1 at the bottom-left and wind back and forth, like a snake.
- Tap Roll. Your token hops as many squares as the die shows.
- Up you climb! Landing on the foot of a ladder carries you to its top.
- A snake waits three squares ahead. Tap Roll and see what happens.
- A six earns a second roll. Tap Roll.
- You choose which die to move and the other is lost. Look for ladders and avoid snakes.
