About the game
Eighteen hand-built circuits, six cars to unlock, dual-stick controls, and bodywork that bends every time you touch another car.
An original arcade racer built for seatback in-flight entertainment. Steer with the left stick and work the pedals with the right — or plug in a controller, wired or Bluetooth. Hold DRIFT through a corner to fill the nitro bar, then spend it in three stages: a regular boost, a Perfect Nitro if you re-trigger inside the lit window, and a Shockwave that wrecks any rival you touch.
THE TOUR is eighteen circuits, each with its own layout, its own sky and its own challenge: heavy traffic, a wet track, tunnels, fog, a blackout, crosswind, ice, banked bowls, jumps, an elimination race and a six-lap endurance run. Finish one to open the next; your finishing position is your medal, and every circuit has a target time to beat.
Cars are solid. Contact bends the bodywork, a damaged car is slower and holds a corner worse, and a body at zero retires the run. Pods in the lanes put it right and bolt parts on for the rest of the race — power, grip, nitro and a shield.
Six cars in the GARAGE, unlocked across the tour, each with real differences in top speed, acceleration, grip and nitro. Also four classic modes on a free circuit, a Track Builder, and a two-player race over the net. Entirely offline, in a single file.
How to play
- Steer with the LEFT stick. The car accelerates on its own, so you can drive with one thumb — or use the RIGHT stick for the pedals.
- Drifting fills the nitro bar. The tighter the corner and the faster you carry it, the quicker it fills. Chain corners to keep it climbing.
- Tap NITRO with one full segment to boost. Tap again while the bar's bright window is lit for a Perfect Nitro — a longer, faster boost.
- With all three segments full, hold NITRO for a Shockwave: top speed plus a blast that wrecks any rival you touch.
- Hit a ramp off-centre or while drifting to barrel roll. Air time and clean landings pay nitro.
- Ramming a rival at boost speed is a takedown. Hitting traffic, a barrier, or sliding off the tarmac wrecks you and costs time.
- Contact bends the bodywork. A damaged car is slower, accelerates worse and holds a corner less well — and a body at zero retires the run.
- Drive through the pods in the lanes. Green repairs the body; the others bolt a part on for the rest of the race — power, grip, nitro or a shield.
- Change the view with the camera button beside pause, the C or V key, or a controller's View button: chase, bumper or high chase.
Controls
| Touch | Steer with the LEFT stick and hold a line through the corner. The RIGHT stick is the pedals: push up for throttle, pull down to brake — and pull it past halfway to drift. |
|---|---|
| Mouse | Press and drag on the left half of the screen to steer and on the right half for the pedals; click DRIFT and NITRO on screen. |
| Keyboard | Arrow keys or A/D steer and W/S are the pedals; hold Shift to drift, Space fires nitro; C or V changes the camera view; P or Esc pauses and M mutes. |
| Gamepad | Left stick or D-pad steers; RT and LT (or D-pad up and down) are the pedals; A or RB is nitro; B or LB is the handbrake; X spends a full bar as a shockwave; Y hides the map; Start pauses. |
