About the game

Falling sums threaten your lantern towers. Type the answer, fire the beam, keep the lights burning.

Ember shards drift down out of the night sky, each one carrying a sum. Type its answer on the console and the signal post beams it out of the air — and every shard showing that same answer goes with it, so a well-chosen number can clear half the sky at once. Let one through and it takes a bite out of a lantern tower; let a tower go dark twice and the light is out for good. Lose them all and the night wins.

Blue shards bank a snow cloud that relights your most damaged tower between waves. Drift lanterns cross the sky carrying a flare that snuffs everything at once. Waves grow and quicken without end.

Five ranks run from Firefly (addition to ten) to Lighthouse (four-number sums with negatives), and Drill Setup exposes every rule underneath them — operations, number ranges, where the unknown sits, tower count, fall speed, wave growth — so a parent, a teacher or a curious player can tune the drill exactly.

Completely offline. No accounts, no adverts, no in-app purchases, no data leaves the device.

How to play

1. Each falling shard carries a sum. If it lands, that lantern burns down one stage — and a dark lantern cannot be lit again by itself.
2. Tap the digits to build the answer and press Send. Every shard on screen showing that answer is snuffed at once, so matching answers clear together.
3. A shard is worth more the higher it still is, and harder operations are worth more: addition ×1, subtraction ×2, multiplication ×3, division ×4.
4. Every so often a blue shard falls, faster than the rest. Snuff it and a snow cloud drifts in at the end of the wave to restore your most damaged lantern.
5. A drift lantern crosses the top of the sky carrying its own sum. Answer it in time and you hold a flare — send the flare to snuff every shard on screen at once.
