About the game

Six-handed no-limit Texas Hold’em with play-money chips. Read the table, size your bets and grow the biggest stack you can.

A complete six-handed no-limit Texas Hold’em table that runs entirely offline. You are dealt two cards, the board comes out across the flop, turn and river, and you fold, check, call, bet or raise up to your whole stack. Five opponents play their own styles — a rock who waits for a hand, a maniac who will not stop raising, a calling station who never folds — and each reads its odds with a live equity calculation rather than a script. Blinds, the dealer button, side pots, all-in run-outs and split pots all follow the standard rules. Your score is the biggest chip stack you reach in a session. The Table Rules screen lets you change the table size, the blinds, the starting stack, opponent skill and the pace; leave it alone for the faithful game. Play-money chips only — there is no real-money wagering, no purchases and no ads.

How to play

  1. You get two private cards. Five community cards come out in three stages — the flop (3), the turn (1) and the river (1). Make the best five-card hand from any combination of your two and the five on the table.
  2. Two players post forced bets, the small and big blind, and the dealer button moves one seat every hand. On each street you may fold, check or call, or bet and raise up to your whole stack.
  3. Win by making the best hand at showdown, or by betting until everyone else folds. If you run out of chips mid-hand you are all in — you can still win the part of the pot you paid for, and the rest becomes a side pot.
  4. Hand ranks, weakest to strongest: high card, pair, two pair, three of a kind, straight, flush, full house, four of a kind, straight flush.
  5. Your score is the biggest chip stack you reach in a session. Lose it all and the session ends.
