About the game
Wind up the tin skipjack, load the pier spring, and time the paddle. Every clean strike buys another skip down a sunlit bay.
Skipjack Bay is a one-thumb distance game. Tap once to stop the power gauge on the pier spring, tap again as the wind-up tin skipjack reaches the rubber paddle — dead centre is a perfect strike — then keep the run alive with a handful of air puffs and a slam dive that turns height into a longer skip.
The bay is generated fresh every run: dunes that launch you off their upslopes, tide pools that swallow your speed, spring pads and buoys that throw you back up, crates that stop you dead, and coin arcs and rings strung through the air. Distance is your score. Coins buy permanent parts for the rig in the Workshop.
Everything runs offline from a single file. There are no ads, no purchases, and nothing leaves the device.
How to play
- Tap once to stop the power gauge. Higher is farther.
- Tap again as the skipjack reaches the paddle. Dead centre is a perfect strike.
- Tap in the air to spend an air puff — a forward shove that keeps the skip alive.
- Hold in the air to slam down, then bounce back higher.
- Green pads and buoys throw you up. Crates kill your speed. Rings and coins are free money.
- The run ends when the skipjack stops. Distance is your score.
- Switch between the chase view, behind the skipjack, and side-on from the pier (or the View button)
