About the game
Team Sunshine races Team Ocean home around a friendly 3D backgammon board.
Backgammon is the classic dice race on a friendly 3D board, with Team Sunshine against Team Ocean. Roll the dice and move a checker for each die, land on a lone enemy checker to send it to the bar, and bring all fifteen of yours home before taking them off the board. The first team to take every checker off wins the game; a gammon scores double points and a backgammon triple.
Play a computer pal at three levels, Puppy, Pal and Pro, in a single game or a match to 3, 5 or 7 points, or choose Play a Friend to open a game over the net and share a six-digit room code. Undo takes back a move, Show me suggests one, and optional helper rings mark every checker that can move. Board Setup lets you place checkers on any point or start from the Standard, Pure race, Bear-off and Back game presets, then play that board. Best Games keeps your medals and match points, and the board can be drawn in 3D or flat.
How to play
- Bring all fifteen checkers home, then take them off the board.
- Roll the dice. Each die is one move.
- Land on a point with one enemy checker to send it to the bar.
- A checker on the bar comes back before anything else moves.
- You cannot land where two or more enemy checkers sit.
- Roll a double and you get four moves.
- All fifteen home? Start taking them off to win.
- Camera button (or C): switch between the Table, Seat and Overhead views. Drag to look around.
Controls
