About the game

The classic trick-taking card game on a real 3D table. Duck the hearts, dodge the Queen, or take everything and shoot the moon.

Hearts is the classic four-player trick-taking game, rebuilt as a real 3D card table that runs entirely offline.

Every heart you take costs you a point. The Queen of Spades costs thirteen. The player with the LOWEST score wins, so the whole game is about ducking tricks, reading voids, and steering the Queen onto somebody else. Take all twenty-six points in a single hand and you shoot the moon: everyone else takes the damage instead.

Three computer opponents play a real game — they count what has gone, track who is void in what, flush the Queen out with low spades, duck as high as they safely can, and will spot and break up a moon attempt. Choose casual, standard or sharp.

The table is rendered in genuine 3D with a hand-written renderer: lit and shadowed cards with real thickness, a felt surface, and a wooden rim. There is no game engine and no third-party library anywhere in the build.

Table Rules lets you set the target score, the passing cycle, whether the Queen breaks hearts, the no-points-on-the-first-trick rule, how shooting the moon scores, and the optional Jack of Diamonds bonus.

Plays in eleven languages, supports touch and gamepad, and never makes a single network request.

How to play

  1. Four players, thirteen tricks. Every heart you win costs 1 point and the Queen of Spades costs 13. Lowest total when someone reaches the target wins.
  2. Before each hand you pass three cards — left, right, across, then a hold hand with no passing. Tap three cards, then Pass.
  3. The two of clubs leads the first trick. You must follow the led suit if you can; otherwise play anything. Highest card of the led suit wins the trick and leads the next one.
  4. You cannot lead a heart until a heart (or the Queen) has been played on someone else’s suit. Points cannot be discarded on the very first trick.
  5. Take every heart and the Queen in one hand and the 26 points go to everyone else instead of you. Risky: one lost heart and you keep the rest.
  6. Camera button (or C): switch between the Table, Seat and Overhead views.
