About the game
Draw a face on a pumpkin with your finger, light it up, and take it home.
A pumpkin, your finger, and no clock.
Trace the dotted ring around the top and lift the lid off. Rub the inside until it is hollow. Then draw a face on it — there are no tools to pick, no knives to hold and nothing to aim: you draw with a fingertip and the game makes the shape you meant. A shaky circle comes out a circle. A wobbly drag comes out a straight line. Close a shape and the whole inside of it is carved away in one clean piece, and if you do not like it, Undo puts it straight back.
Then put a candle in. The inside is genuinely dark until you do, and lit from within once you have — the light gets out only through the holes you actually cut, so your face lands on the table and on the wall behind it.
Three pumpkin shapes and a camera you can spin all the way round. Nothing is scored, nothing is timed, and nothing is ever ruined. Carve on your own, or start a room and carve the same pumpkin with somebody else.
