About the game
Someone has something to say to you, and sixty-three ways to say it.
Write a message — congratulations, a birthday, a thank you, an apology — and watch it arrive. Sixty-three scenes, each one a real animal or physical behaviour rendered in code, and each one spells your words using nothing but the way the thing actually works. Fireflies converge on unison and a pond of frogs converges on the opposite, because it is the same equation with the sign flipped. Twenty koalas press themselves against the coolest trunks in a stand, so the message is a thermal map. Mice hug the edges of a half-iced cake until the routes they wear become channels deep enough to throw a shadow. A clutch of eggs talks itself into hatching together.
A scene can only write what its own behaviour has marks for — a fox has time for seventeen dives — so the scene spells the short thing and anything longer arrives as a letter once it has finished. Nothing is animated into position and nothing is faked: each scene is a simulation with a message somewhere inside it, and every one has its own music, its own five acts and its own ending.
