遊戲介紹

Carrom in 3D: slide your striker, pull back to aim and pocket your men on a polished board, with slow-motion pots, four levels of animal opponents, a ladder through eight Indian cities, and trick-shot challenges.

Carrom (कैरम) is the South Asian flicking game played on a square board with four corner pockets. Nine white men, nine black men and the red queen start in the middle; you flick a striker from your baseline to pocket your colour, and every pocket earns you another shot.

Slide the striker along the baseline, pull back to aim and set the power (your finger stays behind the striker, never on the line), and let go. An aim guide that shrinks as the opponents get tougher shows your path and where the struck man will go; pots play back in slow motion and any shot can be replayed. The physics is deterministic: powder-slick sliding, rail rebounds, spin, and a cut shot that goes where the geometry says.

Play International (ICF) rules with the queen cover, dues and fouls, Black & White club rules, or Freestyle with points per man. Singles or doubles, one board or a full game. Climb a ladder of eight Indian cities, from Chiku the monkey of Mumbai to Bagh the champion, with an elephant, a fox, a tiger cub, a cow, a hamster and a mongoose on the way, or try twenty trick shots (cuts, rebounds, kill shots and combinations) that were each proved solvable.

An eight-lesson interactive tutorial teaches the board, aiming, cuts, rebounds, fouls and the queen. The default view always shows the whole board; orbit, pan and zoom are free, and on a portrait phone the board stays square with the controls underneath. Thirteen languages including Hindi, controller, keyboard and touch support, and it all runs offline in one file.

玩法

  1. Welcome to carrom! Nine white men, nine black men and one red queen sit in the centre. You flick your striker to pocket your colour: you are white.
  2. Slide the striker along the line: drag it sideways, or use the slider.
  3. Now aim: press the striker and pull back, away from where you want it to go. The dotted line shows the path. Let go to flick.
  4. To send a man to a pocket, hit it on the far side from the pocket. The green dots show where it will go, the ring shows where your striker meets it.
  5. Pot one of your men. As long as you keep potting, you keep the turn.
  6. Cover it: pot another white man straight away. Miss, and the queen goes back.
