About the game
Drag chains of matching frosted rings to clear them, and make every move count before the run comes to an end.
Frosty Rings is a connect-and-clear puzzle played on a grid of frosted rings. Drag across two or more matching rings that touch up, down, left or right, then release to clear the chain; the rings above drop down and new ones fill the gaps. Every cleared chain costs one move, longer chains score more points, and a chain of five or more earns a Sweet Combo! The star ring joins any chain and gives the move back when it is cleared. When the moves run out the run is complete, and the aim is to beat your best score.
Board Setup lets you choose the Grid Size (5×5, 6×6 or 7×7), the Move Limit (15, 20 or 25) and the number of Flavors (4, 5 or 6). High Scores keeps your top runs, a controller can move the cursor and build chains with the D-pad, and Play a Friend opens a game over the net with a six-digit room code, where you both play a run and the higher score wins.
How to play
- Drag across two or more matching frosted rings that touch up, down, left, or right.
- Release to clear the chain. Longer chains score more points.
- The star ring joins any chain and refunds a move when cleared.
- Each cleared chain costs one move. Run out of moves and the run ends.
- Beat your best score. It's saved on this device.
