About the game
Slide the glazier’s bar, volley the molten bead, and take a leaded window apart pane by pane — then build the next one.
Panewright is a glazier’s workshop in arcade form. A molten bead sits on a brass-capped bar at the foot of a leaded stained-glass window. Aim, launch, and volley it into the glass: every pane it touches shatters and adds to your count. Miss the bead and it drops past the bar — you have three, and they last the whole run.
Clear a window and a new one is glazed in front of you, so a run is a chase for the highest number of panes broken rather than a fixed set of levels. The Wall Editor lets you tap out a window of your own, mirror it into symmetry, and play it. Window Setup opens up the rules: bar width, bead speed, aimed or fixed launch, beads per run, and how many windows a run should last — set windows to one and beads to one and you have the strict, single-window original.
The whole game is one self-contained file with nothing to download and nothing to connect to. It runs entirely offline, in twelve languages, on touch or a gamepad.
How to play
- Drag anywhere to slide the glazier's bar. The bar only moves sideways.
- Tap to send the bead away. Aim it first by sliding — the arrow shows where it goes.
- One hit shatters a pane. Clear the whole window and a fresh one is set.
- Let a bead fall past the bar and you lose one. Lose all three and the run ends.
