About the game
Five short games retell Grimm's Rapunzel, from picking rampion in the walled garden to steering her song through the briars.
Rapunzel and the Rampion Garden retells the Brothers Grimm's tale as five short games, one for each turn of the story. In The Walled Garden you tap each rampion while its bell is open and leave the briars alone, before time runs out. Let Down Your Hair is a rhythm game: tap as each silk rung reaches the ring while the prince climbs the braid. The Silk Ladder is a puzzle of turning threads until the spindle joins the window. In Dame Gothel's Bargain you watch which plants she names and name them back in her order, one more each round. In She Sings you hold the left or right half of the screen to steer Rapunzel's song up through the briars to the prince.
Play takes you through the tales in order, each opening with a short story card, and every tale you clear opens the next one in Choose a Tale so it can be played again. Best Results keeps your top result for each tale, How to Play explains all five, and sound and music can be switched on or off during play.
