遊戲介紹

Real 3D table shuffleboard with a Tour: 35 levels in five rooms, an endless Gauntlet, and a player who leans over the board and pushes every weight.

Airporio Shuffleboard is the long-table bar game in 3D, played with one finger. Drag sideways to set the line, pull down to draw the weight back, and let go: your player leans over the end of the board and pushes it away with one smooth stroke. Lag a weight into the 3, hang one over the far edge for 4, or send a hard one down to knock theirs into the alley. Only the weight that lies farthest scores, and the last shot of every round is the hammer.

The Tour takes you through five rooms - a wood-panelled lounge, a veranda under the palms, a pavilion on a pier, the lounge of a ship at sea and a rooftop bar at night - in 35 levels: challenges (lag for points, call your weight, knock-off, bump, block, thread the gap, the double, the last shot) and games against named players, each room ending with its champion. Earn up to three stars a level. Then the Gauntlet: game after game against stronger and stronger players, three lives, no ceiling.

Underneath is the real game: four weights a side, farthest scores, the hanger, the foul lines, first to 15, changing ends every round, on a full-size board measured in metres and seconds. Weights slide on powder and stop where friction says, steel rings on steel when they meet, and every room has a board of its own: slow in the damp, falling toward the sea on the pier, rolling with the swell on the ship. Opponents from a first-nighter to a champion read the board and miss their shots the way players at that level do.

Quick games to 7, 11, 15 or 21, practice for any shot, five camera views including one from behind your player, three levels of help, a flick control for those who want no meter, its own lounge swing tune with a Music button of its own, and 11 languages. One self-contained file with no network requests, so it plays offline at 38,000 feet.

玩法

  1. The game. Two players slide four weights each down the board, turn about. When all eight are down, only the player whose weight lies farthest scores: every weight of theirs beyond the other player's best counts what it lies in, 1, 2 or 3, and a weight hanging over the far edge, a hanger, counts 4. A weight must be wholly over a line to take the higher number. Off the board, or short of the first foul line, a weight is removed. The winner of a round shoots first in the next, so the other player has the last shot (◆). First to 15.
  2. Shoot. Drag sideways to turn the line of the push. Pull down to draw the weight back: the meter shows where it would stop. Let go and your player pushes it. The lane button moves you across the end of the board, for a straight line at a weight or an angle round a blocker.
  3. Knock them off. A harder weight (the red part of the meter) hits what is in its way. A full hit stops your weight where theirs was; a thin one sends both off at an angle.
  4. The board. Every room has its own: slow or fast powder, a board that runs to the middle or falls to one side, and on the ship a deck that rolls. The guide shows the true path.
  5. Help. Guided shows where every weight will end up; Standard shows your own; Expert shows only the line and the meter. Flick is the manual way to push (Settings).
  6. Camera: the camera button (or C) cycles the view from behind the player, the weight camera, from the far end, from the side and overhead. The note button turns the music off and on; M silences everything.
  7. Keys: arrows aim and set the weight, Z and X change lane, Space pushes, P pauses. Controller: left stick, bumpers for the lane, A to push, Y for the camera, Start to pause.

  • Behind your player in the lounge, leaning over the end of the table in mid-push, the long board and the far end ahead.
  • Low behind a red weight sliding up the board on the palm-court veranda, the 3, 2 and 1 lines coming up.
  • From beyond the far end of the table on the pier: weights lie on the numbers and the next one is on its way down the board.
  • Aiming on the ship: the guide line bends with the roll of the deck and a marker shows which way the board is falling.
  • The whole table from the side on the rooftop at night, a weight running toward the scoring end under strings of bulbs.
  • The Tour menu: five room tabs and seven level cards with stars, challenges and opponents.
