About the game

Drop gems down a seven-column rack; every line of four scores a point.

Deep in a lamplit grotto, two miners take turns dropping gems into a seven-column rack. Every gem falls to the lowest free socket, and every line of four you complete — across, down or diagonally — is worth a point. A run of five is worth two. Grey stones sit in the rack and block a socket: gems rest on top of them, and the sockets beneath stay sealed for the whole match. The board plays until it is full, then the points are counted and the higher score claims the grotto. Play a passenger beside you or a searching opponent across three difficulties, and build your own stone layouts in the Board Editor. Runs entirely offline with no network of any kind.

How to play

  1. Tap a column to drop your gem. It falls to the lowest free socket.
  2. You and your rival take turns, one gem each.
  3. Every line of four of your gems scores 1 point — across, down or diagonally. A line of five scores 2.
  4. Grey stones block a socket. Gems rest on them, and the sockets beneath stay sealed.
  5. The board fills, the points are counted, and the highest score claims the grotto.
