About the game
Swap shells, starfish and sea glass to line up three or more and clear the tide pool, board after board.
Driftglass Cove is a swap-and-match puzzle built for the seatback screen, set on a sunlit beach. Line up three or more shore finds - scallop shells, starfish, sea glass, turban shells and sea urchins - to clear them, chain longer matches into Waves, Bubbles and Pearls, and set off cascades that clear whole rows at once. Each board sets its own goal - reach a score, clear the sand, or collect a colour - inside a fixed number of moves. Three lives carry the whole run. A Board Workshop lets you paint your own tide pool and tune the rules. Plays entirely offline, with no account, no network and no purchases.
How to play
- Drag one piece onto the one beside it. The swap only sticks if it makes a line of three or more — otherwise it slides back and costs you nothing.
- Pieces above tumble down to fill the gap. If they land in a new line they clear too — a cascade, and every step of the chain is worth more than the last.
- A line of four leaves a Wave piece, striped with surf. Match it and it sweeps its whole row or column.
- Two lines crossing leave a piece inside a Bubble. It bursts across three by three — twice.
- Swap the Pearl with any piece and every piece of that colour leaves the board. Swap two specials together for something bigger.
- Each board asks for a score, for all the sand to be cleared, or for a number of one colour. Miss it and you lose one of your three lives.
