About the game

Run a busy animal clinic: choose who to see next from a bench of poorly pets, then catch fleas, snip knots and wind bandages before anyone goes home grumpy.

Thistle Clinic is an animal clinic with a queue. In Busy Day, puppies, kittens, hedgehogs, tortoises, fox cubs and more arrive on the waiting bench, each showing the troubles you can see from across the room and a patience bar that runs down while they wait. Who you see next is the game: a shivering puppy wears out fast, a sniffly duckling sneezes on its neighbours, a muddy piglet will wait but pays little. Tap a patient to call them to the table, or swap them for whoever is already there, and drag a treat from the jar to keep someone waiting a little longer.

Every trouble is a small hands-on job with the right tool from the tray: pull out a thorn, catch each hopping flea with the comb, scrub off every splodge of mud, snip the knots in tangled string, put in eye drops only while the eye is open, let go of the thermometer while its gauge is green, and wind a bandage round a sore leg. The wrong tool costs patience. Earn the day's coin goal to open the next day and choose one upgrade from three; patients arrive faster, wait less and bring more troubles each day, and five grumpy patients close the clinic early.

Free Play is the gentle clinic for little ones, with no timer, no score and no way to lose: tap a friend in the waiting room, mend them and offer a snack. Clinic Setup changes the troubles, the waiting room and the hints, and Gentle touch makes one touch finish any tool. It plays with touch, a mouse, a keyboard or a gamepad.

How to play

  1. Busy Day: patients arrive on the bench. Tap one to call them to the table.
  2. Each has a patience bar. Red means they are about to go home grumpy, and five grumpy patients close the clinic early.
  3. Drag the right tool onto the glowing spot and do what it asks: rub, hold, snip the knots, pull, wind a bandage, catch the fleas, or wait for the eye to open.
  4. Tap another patient on the bench to swap them onto the table. Drag a treat from the jar to cheer up someone who is waiting.
  5. Shivers and fevers wear patience fastest. Sniffly patients sneeze on their neighbours. The wrong tool costs patience.
  6. Earn the day's coin goal to open the next day and choose an upgrade. Happy patients pay the most.
  7. Free Play has no timer, no score and no way to lose: tap a friend, mend them and give a snack.
